Nano Brows are a modern permanent makeup technique used to create fine, hair-like strokes within the eyebrow.
Unlike traditional microblading, Nano hairstrokes are created using a permanent makeup machine and fine needle rather than a manual microblading tool.
At Blink Beauty Bar, Nano Brows are performed using a fine 1RL needle configuration, allowing individual machine hairstrokes to be carefully created within the brow.
Nano Brows vs. Microblading
The biggest difference is how the hairstrokes are created.
With traditional microblading, hairstrokes are created manually. With Nano Brows, hairstrokes are created using a permanent makeup machine and fine needle. Both techniques can create the appearance of natural brow hairs.
One isn’t automatically better than the other.
Skin characteristics, natural brow hair, previous permanent makeup and your desired result can all influence which technique makes sense for you.
What Do Nano Brows Look Like?
Nano Brows are intended to create a hairstroke appearance rather than a fully shaded brow. Individual strokes are incorporated into the brow design to add the appearance of hair, structure and fullness. Clients wanting additional density or a more filled-in effect may also be candidates for shading or a combination technique.
